Description :
A pump containing two or more impellers is a centrifugal pump. The impeller may be mounted on same shaft or different shaft. For higher pressure at the outlet, impeller can be connected in series and for higher flow, impeller can be connected in parallel manner. A common application of multistage pump is for higher pressure at the outlet. It conforms to ISO-2858.
