Vertical multistage
centrifugal pumps are non-self-priming (gravity feed) units designed to handle
high-pressure/low-flow liquid transfer applications where no suction lift is
required. . The in-line design enables installation of the pump in horizontal one
pipe systems. The suction and discharge ports are of same dimension and are in
the same horizontal plane. This arrangement ensures a compact design and calls
for a simpler piping systems.
